So, todays' Lab look was a tribute to The Lonely Island's Turtlenecks and Chains.  While it might not be an exact turtleneck (more a turtleneck in spirit), I've definitely got a thin-ass chain - "A chain so light when the breeze blow by man, it floats, it floats"...Word!  No beer yet, gotta wait for Real Ale Society Brewery Tour tomorrow.  Nerding it up with Beer and Mathmos! Whoop-Da-Whoop!

This sock obsession took hold of me during my time @ Glasvegas.  Lime green knee highs and fushia kitten heels - wince/cringe - probs not my best moment!  But I think I'm starting to get a hold of what is acceptable and what isn't.

I'm yet to take this style (Socks + Stripper Heels) into the Lab, mostly due to the fear of breaking my ankles/neck before leaving my flat.  Fashion knows no pain...but flesh and bones do!  I do have a few ideas for a Lab photoshoot with these shoes - treading on your Gilson, crushing your Eppendorfs, walking all over your PCR.  Any volunteers?

Once it hit the net, every kawaii/lolita reblogged it.  But the damn nuisance is that no-one states where you can get these - you obvi have to be 'in the know'.  I've looked high and low to no avail!  Sad, sad, sad face! It might look good but it's a bastard to cycle in...yes, I know.  Cycling, now that's not very Footballer's Wife!  I have, however, been trying to emulate the Footballer's Wife Diva attitude by waltzing around the department today...turning up late, applying lipstick, filing my nail$, and s/texting during lectures, shopping online rather reading papers on library computers...

What am I talking about?  If I was really a Diva I wouldn't go to lectures or be in the library in the first place.  I'm a little geeky @ ❤ ...BUT FYI, I will never join the dark/geek side!

Unfortunately, the catwalk had to be my room @ college...I am yet to ask the Cambridge Professors to let me have a photo shoot in the Lab...mmmm...maybe I can incorporate some Gilson pipettes and Eppendorf tubes...any suggestions?

In regards to my cheerleader status - I'm not working in a Lab at the moment and some consider that to be "Not being a real scientist!" - I'm just there in a support capacity!  Well, that may be verging on the truth (for the time being) but you're  teaming a polo neck with ill-fitting jeans and trainers...therefore, I WIN!

Hell yeah, a B**ch is jealous...wait a second...no, no she's not!

So, hands up who hasn't heard the news that Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from (the poor, unsuspecting) Kris Humphries?  If you haven't then I applaud you for having better things to do...unlike myself - I blame the intricacies of ABA-induced stomatal closure.  But anyway, Kim K is finding new ways to attract attention and pile those stacks ($) higher while ruining someonelse's life.  I know I'm joining a long line of Kim K H8ers.  See Deena Jacobs below, who delivers her critique of Kim with such eloquence and grace!  Brilliant!

I am not afraid to admit my jealousy, Ms. Big 'Ol (Plastic) Booty has bloody everything - fame, looks, money - but there is something which my ladies at Cambridge "have a monopoly on" - an intellect, a brain.  Now, let's hope that there will never be a kindly brain surgeon passing by that offers to cut her head open and stick a brain inside.   Why does everyone hang on her (and those Beverley Hills Barbies) every vacuous, brainless word?  "Yeah, 'coz I guess it's kinda HOT, like a whole bunch of stuff!"

Now, I'm getting na$ty and it's not very becoming of me.  Maybe it's just because I've spent a lot of money on over-educating myself out of the possibility of useful employment, and all I will graduate with is a mountain of debt.  I should take a deep breath and resign myself to "Life isn't fair!"...and hope that gravity takes its toll on her ass!

But here is one H8er that will rip Kim K a new one - Hello Kitty is absolutely outraged at the ridiculous B**ch - she better watch out because she's ready for a fight, she's out for blood!  Go kitty, Go!
