Even though the sun did not come out to play yesterday, the Bushcraft Bioscientist and I decided that it was a good day for foraging for yummy wild fruits.  We set out armed with a long stick with which to whack trees to free the fruit and a bicycle basket to catch said fruit.  And look what we got...

...Wild cherries, bullaces, plums, and Cherry plums! But what do you do with such a hoard?

Well, the Bushcraft Bioscientist put some of the loot into a large jar along with some *unrefined* sugar and много водок (Eng: a lot of, lot of, lot of vodka).  This will be left for several months to mature and then it will be ready to drink - side effects may include ethanol induced obliteration of grief, and fruit-infused hallucinations.
